Flu Vaccination at UZH 2023

Starting at the end of October 2023, Safety, Security and Environment will offer all UZH employees the opportunity to be vaccinated against the seasonal flu. The vaccination is free of charge and voluntary.

The vaccination can only be offered to UZH employees.
Students, relatives and external persons can receive the vaccination at pharmacies or by their family doctor, at their own expense. 

National flu Vaccination day: Friday the 10th of November 2023.

This year we are conducting the flu vaccinations without registration. There may be a waiting time.

  • Bring your employee ID card and vaccination booklet with you to the appointment
  • Avoid coming to the vaccination appointment if you show any symptomsof an acute respiratory disease or other acute illnesses

At the UZH the quadrivalent vaccine VaxigripTetra® will be used. WHO recommends that vaccines contain the following:

- A/Darwin/9/2021 (H3N2)

- B/Phuket/3073/2013
